Welcome to SnapReel ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how SnapReel ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Services").

SnapReel is a video generation app that allows you to create personalized videos using your photos and our templates. All video rendering happens locally on your device — your photos are never uploaded to our servers.

A. Information Collected Automatically:

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers (used for subscription management and analytics)
• Google Advertising ID (GAID): A resettable advertising identifier provided by Google Play Services. It is read on-device and shared with our advertising and measurement partners (Google AdMob, Meta) to attribute ad-driven installs, measure ad performance, and serve relevant ads. You can reset or opt out at any time via your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads.
• Usage Data: Features used, templates selected, videos created, app interaction patterns
• Advertising Data: Ad interaction data collected by our advertising partners (Google AdMob, Meta)

B. Information from Third-Party Services:

• Payment Information: When you subscribe to premium, payment details are processed entirely by the payment gateway (Google Play Billing or Paytm). We receive only a confirmation of payment status — we do not store your payment credentials, card details, or UPI IDs.
• Advertising & Measurement Partners: Our ad and attribution partners (Google AdMob, Meta) may collect device identifiers (including GAID), event signals (e.g. app open, paywall view, subscription purchase, ad impression/click), and usage data to attribute installs, measure conversions, and serve relevant ads.

C. Information We Do NOT Collect:

• Personal Photos: Your images are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to our servers
• Personal Identity: We do not require or collect your name, email, phone number, or any personally identifiable information. The app works without any sign-in or registration.
• Contacts or Location: We do not access your contacts, precise location, or other sensitive device data

We use the limited information we collect for:

• Subscription Management: To verify and manage your premium subscription status using your device identifier
• App Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve our templates and features
• Advertising: To display ads to free-tier users (via Google AdMob)
• Technical Support: To diagnose and fix technical issues
• Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws and regulations

This is our core privacy commitment:

• All video rendering happens 100% on your device
• Your photos are never uploaded to any server
• We have no access to any images you use in the app
• When you uninstall the app, no trace of your photos remains on our end
• Created videos are saved to your device's local storage (Movies/SnapReel folder)

SnapReel is free to use with ads. We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements and Meta (Facebook) for ad attribution and campaign measurement.

• AdMob may collect device identifiers (including GAID) and usage data to serve personalized ads
• Meta App Events SDK receives a limited, curated set of events (such as app open, paywall view, subscription purchase, ad impression and ad click) along with your device's GAID, used solely to attribute ad-driven installs and optimise our ad campaigns. We do not send personal information (no name, email, phone number, or photos) to Meta — the app does not collect any of these.
• You can opt out of personalized ads at any time through your device's privacy settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization, or Reset advertising ID)
• Premium subscribers do not see ads

We do not sell your information. We may share limited data only in these circumstances:

• Advertising Partners: Device identifiers (including GAID) and usage data with Google AdMob for ad serving
• Attribution Partners: A curated set of events plus GAID with Meta (Facebook) for ad-install attribution and campaign optimisation
• Payment Processors: Payment confirmation data with Google Play or Paytm (they handle payment details directly)
• Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics for app improvement
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government request
• Protection of Rights: To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property

We implement appropriate security measures:

• All network communication uses SSL/TLS encryption
• Payment processing is handled by PCI-DSS compliant partners
• We minimize data collection — we don't store what we don't need
• Your photos never leave your device, eliminating server-side image security risks

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the following rights:

• Opt-out of Personalized Ads: Through your device's privacy settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads)
• Uninstall: Remove the app at any time — no personal data is retained on our servers
• Cancel Subscription: Cancel premium through Google Play Store or by revoking the UPI mandate from your payment app
• Data Inquiry: Visit our Contact Us page for any questions about your data

SnapReel is available for users of all ages, including children aged 5 and above, with appropriate parental supervision.

• We do not collect personally identifiable information from any users, including children
• We encourage parents/guardians to supervise their children's use of the app
• Ads shown to users comply with Google AdMob's policies for family-friendly content

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
• Posting the updated policy in the app
